Science & EnvironmentKimberly Prather, a distinguished professor and director of the Center for Aerosol Impacts on Chemistry and the Environment (CAICE) at UC San Diego, leads research into aerosols, both natural and human-originated. She studies how aerosols that are produced from sources such as the ocean seed clouds and influence global climate.
