Office of Research Affairs (ORA)
The new Office of Research Affairs is holding an Open House for the UCSD community on Oct. 25 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The office is located in Building 965, at the corner of Gilman Drive and Russell Lane.
I am writing to introduce you to the new Office of Research Affairs (ORA). Our mission is to support the UCSD community as it creates and communicates new knowledge in all fields of campus scholarship.
ORA is committed to helping you meet your scholarly objectives. We encourage you to contact us if we can assist you with any aspect of your research, including acquiring resources, developing partnerships, and capitalizing on your results. In addition, ORA facilitates research through the following units: Academic Research Personnel, Animal Care Program, Animal Welfare Program, Ethics Program, Government Research Relations, Office of Contract and Grant Administration (OCGA), Postdoctoral Scholar Affairs, and Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Services (TechTIPS). As you become acquainted with the resources we offer, I invite your suggestions for how we can serve you even more effectively.
