Record Number of Tritons Selected for National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team

UC San Diego has placed a school-record six players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II All-West Region Team. In addition, senior forward Sarah McTigue was named to the NSCAA All-America Third Team.

Men’s Water Polo Team Takes Fourth Place at NCAA Water Polo Championships

No. 3-seed UC San Diego men's water polo team fell to No. 4-seed Princeton 9-7 in the consolation game of the NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship on Sunday at Spieker Aquatics Center on the campus of UC Berkeley. The Tritons finished in fourth place at the tournament after falling to second-seeded UCLA in the national semifinal on Saturday.

Ranked on the NCSA's list for the seventh year in a row, UCSD also earned a No. 6 overall ranking in the study.
