Rick Kronick, professor of family and preventive medicine, is a health policy expert and political scientist, who has written and spoken extensively on the pressing healthcare issues facing the nation, from the rising numbers of uninsured to the complexities of creating equitable and affordable health insurance products. During the 2008 Presidential Election, Kronick volunteered as a member of Senator Barak Obama's Health Policy Advisory Committee. Keith Poole, professor of political science, studies Congress and congressional votes, as well as polarization, inequality and economics. Samuel Popkin, professor of political science, is a specialist on presidential campaigns and author of "The Reasoning Voter: Communication and Persuasion in Presidential Campaigns."
