Web Bug Reveals Browsing History
BBC News, Dec. 2 -- Porn sites are among the top users of a browser bug that reveals all the places people go online, finds research. Carried out by computer science researchers at UC San Diego the study found 485 sites exploiting the bug.

'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' May Put Soldiers' Health at Risk, Doctor Says
U.S. News & World Report, Dec. 2 -- A physician with experience caring for armed forces personnel says the U.S. military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy puts both service members and the general public at risk by encouraging secrecy about sexual health issues. "Infections go undiagnosed. At Art Basel Miami Beach, Less Heat
The New York Times, Dec. 2 -- The crowds that used to form more than an hour before the opening of the “First Choice” portion of Art Basel Miami Beach—the four-hour window between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. when only elite collectors can enter and browse the fair—are gone. Indeed, on Wednesday during “First Choice” things seemed sedate compared to the years before 2008. Serpent-like Oarfish Floats Up in Malibu;
Natural History Museum Will Study the Creature

Los Angeles Times, Dec. 2 -- A runner spotted the 12-foot-long fish with silvery scales and a scarlet red dorsal fin floundering in the waters just off Malibu Colony on Sunday. Before long, the serpentine fish washed ashore, dead. And just as quickly, word of the creature from the deep began to spread. (Quotes H.J.
