Could Hawaii Join the Big West?
The Orange County Register, Dec. 7 -- The Big West currently has nine California schools as members, including UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State, UC Riverside and Cal State Northridge in Southern California. If the conference adds a 10th member, it undoubtedly would be a school that offers men's volleyball (Hawaii or UC San Diego, for example) so the Big West could sanction it as a championship sport with an automatic NCAA bid. Dogs at UCSD Help ‘De-stress’ Exam Takers

Approximately 18 trained therapy dogs were brought to campus for the session, which has been held quarterly during final exams for three years.
