San Diego Hospital Repairs Leg After Taxi Wreck
CBS News, Feb. 15 - Surgeons operated Monday on a 45-year-old mother whose leg was severely damaged when a taxi pinned against a wall outside a crowded downtown nightclub. Dominique Gambale is expected to walk again but her right leg will not regain its full function or appearance, said Dr. Paul Girard, an orthopedic surgeon at the UC San Diego Medical Center. She is eating, talking and sitting up in bed. More
