Medical Report: Lung Cancer Treatment
KUSI, Feb. 24 -- Lung cancer is the largest single cause of cancer deaths in the United States. In 2009, nearly one-hundred-sixty-thousand people died from the disease, and nearly two-hundred-thousand people were diagnosed with it. In 2006, more than one-thousand people in San Diego alone died from lung cancer. But there are new steps being taken in treatment of the disease.
