Three San Diego County Schools Earn National Honor
San Diego Union-Tribune, Sept. 9, 2010 -- Three San Diego County schools have earned national honors for their academic performances. The School of Digital Media and Design at San Diego's Kearny High School; The Preuss School UC San Diego, a charter school for disadvantaged students; and Otay Elementary School in Chula Vista have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education.
