at a hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. He was 81 and lived in

not every day that actresses Elizabeth Taylor and Sharon Stone
endorse a book. Yet the two actresses wrote the foreword to
the newest edition of a textbook co-edited by three San Diegans
and two Nebraska doctors. The 1,184-page text, "The Neurology
of AIDS," was a three-year project for Dr. Igor
Grant, a UCSD professor and director
of the HIV Neurobehavioral Research Center. More
