Union Approves New Contract
San Diego Union-Tribune, April 3 -- University of California health care professionals, including about 400 workers at UCSD, have approved a new five-year labor contract that includes a $1,000 bonus per worker, pay increases ranging from 4 percent to 15 percent and wider application of leaves to care for sick family members, the university system said yesterday.
