Professors Protest Paid News in Iraq
San Diego Union-Tribune, Dec. 20-The UCSD communication department sent an open letter to a member of Congress yesterday expressing anger over recent reports that the military paid to run news and editorial pieces in Iraqi media. The letter was submitted on behalf of about 20 faculty members in the department, and addressed to Sen. John Warner, R-Va., who heads the Armed Services Committee. More
