New Cardio Center, Expanded Emergency Dept. OK'd for Thornton Hospital
San Diego Union-Tribune, Jan. 19- A new cardiovascular center will be built and the emergency room at Thornton Hospital in La Jolla will be expanded under a plan approved Thursday by the University of California Board of Regents.
