Study: Nature Encourages Biodiversity
UPI, Jan. 26-A study of seven tropical forests around the world has shown nature encourages biodiversity by favoring the growth of less common trees. Researchers lead by Christopher Willis, a professor of biology at UCSD, said the landmark study, conducted by 33 ecologists from 12 nations, conclusively demonstrates diversity matters and has ecological importance to tropical forests.
