She's Having
a 'Hot Flashback'
San Diego Union-Tribune, Opinion,
Jan. 29-Moira Keefe's view of life is upbeat and comic, so this
writer-performer's stage take on the generational divide between
menopausal moms and adolescent girls is quirkily comic too.
Tomorrow at the Carlsbad Village Theatre, she pairs her "Life
Before Sex," a monologue based upon her high school diaries,
with her new show, "Life With a Teenager ... I'm Having
a Hot Flashback." Keefe moved to Encinitas several years
ago with her husband, Charlie Oates, a UCSD
professor of movement and physical theater.
