Grants from Kansas City, Mo., Foundation
to Boost Entrepreneurial Education
The Kansas City Star, July 8—The
Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation will award grants of up to
$ 5 million to as many as seven U.S. universities involved in
broad-based entrepreneurial education. The University

of North Carolina Alumnus May Become Dean of Business School
News & Observer, July 8—Steve
Jones, a North Carolina native and UNC-Chapel Hill alumnus who
has spent most of his career as a banker in Australia, has been
recommended as the next dean of UNC-CH's Kenan-Flagler Business
School. Jones will succeed Robert Sullivan,
who left after four years at Kenan-Flagler to become the founding
dean at the Graduate Management School at the University
of California, San Diego.
