Round-up; Sun earnings decline 80% in 4th quarter
San Francisco Chronicle, July 23-
Sun Microsystems Inc. reported an 80 percent drop in net income
Tuesday as the technology giant struggled with sluggish quarterly
sales that caused it to miss Wall Street earnings estimates
by a penny. The company, who is pushing into other arenas such
as education, reported key customers were signed during the
past quarter, including the government of Belgium, Home Box
Office and UC San Diego.
