19-Year-Old Faces Murder Charge in Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash
KNBC, Los Angeles, July 10 -- Prosecutors added a murder charge Tuesday against a 19-year-old man accused of killing a UCSD doctoral student in a hit-and-run crash in La Mirada last month. Erik Alexander Aguirre of La Mirada had already been charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and hit-and-run causing death in connection with the June 23 crash that killed 28-year-old Liberty Jaswal.
