North County Times, July 12 -- Josh Tobiessen's play "Election Day" earned its first notice last year, when it was a finalist in the university's Baldwin Play Festival. On Monday, it will open at the Second Stage Theatre Uptown Festival in New York City. Tobiessen, a native of Schenectady, N.Y., is now in New York overseeing the production but will return to UCSD in August to teach a summer school course. More
