New Light Shed on Faults Underneath Salton Sea

, July 27 -- Scientists at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography spent much of the past year mapping and analyzing faults and fault-zone activity beneath the bed of the Salton Sea, between the end of the San Andreas and beginning of the Imperial faults near Bombay Beach.
