snowpack prediction

Snowpack in the Colorado Rockies could decline 30 percent by
2050 because of global warming, resulting in depleted reservoirs
and more frequent wildfires, said Michael D. Dettinger,

Galbraith, 86; Chancellor Left Mark on UC San Diego

John S. Galbraith, a scholar on 19th century

Shark Suspected Of Attacking Seal
KGTV, June 11—Last Friday, SeaWorld
rescued a badly injured baby harbor seal from the Children's
Pool in La Jolla. Richard Rosenblatt, a shark
expert with Scripps Institution of Oceanography,
suspects a shark attacked the seal.
