Los Angeles Times, March 22 -- Leora Juster scored a game-high 26 points to lead UCSD to a 71-61 upset win over second-seeded Glenville State in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division II women's basketball tournament at Kearney, Neb., on Wednesday. UCSD (27-4) will face Southern Connecticut State in a semifinal game Thursday. The championship game is Saturday. More

10News, March 22 – UCSD’s Division of Physical Sciences received a $400,000 gift to partially fund a telescope that will help researchers better understand how the universe began, officials said Wednesday. The donation came from the James B. Ax Family Foundation, which works to advance new areas of scientific research, according to UCSD. More
