Upcoming Museum 'Olfactory' Show
San Diego Union-Tribune, March 24 -- More than any of our senses, smell evokes mood and memory. An interactive exhibit on fragrance that opens next Sunday at the Oceanside Museum of Art will explore that connection. It also will introduce a fragrance called OMA, which visitors can spray in their homes or offices to relive their museum experience. Conceptual artist and UCSD alumnus Brian Goeltzenleuchter developed the scent as part of his installation, “Institutional Wellbeing: An Olfactory Plan for Oceanside Museum of Art.” More
