Pfizer Buys La Jolla Center for $372M
North County Times, Nov. 10-Pfizer Inc. has purchased its La Jolla research center for $372 million, further strengthening its roots in San Diego. Pfizer had been leasing the center from United Kingdom-based Slough Estates, PLC. It contains about 1 million square feet of laboratory and office space on a 33-acre site near UC San Diego, the hub of San Diego's biomedical community.
