Fox 6 News, San Diego, Nov. 30-UCSD officials are expected to announce Wednesday a major partnership with Mexican educators, businesses, government and nonprofit organizations that could spur economic development on both sides of the border. In her first visit to Mexico since arriving at UCSD more than a year ago, Chancellor Marye Anne Fox will outline four initiatives aimed at improving air quality, supporting cross-border businesses, improving the Mexican economy and increasing collaborative research.
