Group Calls Climate at UCSD Unfriendly to Chicano, Latino Students and Faculty
San Diego Union-Tribune, Oct. 16- The UCSD Chicano/Latino Concilio charged in a recent critique subtitled "A Legacy of Institutional Neglect" that UC San Diego's atmosphere is unwelcoming to Chicano and Latino students and faculty. UCSD administrators on Monday acknowledged the concerns raised in the report and said the recommendations would be carefully considered.
