Local Medical Team to Travel to Cambodia
San Diego Union-Tribune, Oct. 23 -- An 11-member team of San Diego doctors, nurses and other surgical staff members is scheduled to perform 20 operations on children with heart defects during a 10-day medical mission to Cambodia at the end of the month. The team consists of staffers from Rady Children's Hospital and UCSD Medical Center. More
UCSD Unveils Triton Statue
La Jolla Light. Oct. 22 -- As part of UCSD's effort to reinvigorate its campus and raise school spirit, the university unveiled a 750-pound bronze sculpture of the sea god Triton, the school's mascot, Oct. 16 on the steps of the new Price Center East. More
