Saves Twins in Womb
NBC San Diego, Sept. 15-Doctors at
the UCSD Medical Center have performed the
first fetoscopy, or in utero surgery, in Southern California.
The babies had a life-threatening condition called twin-to-twin
transfusion syndrome, which occurs when one twin receives too
much blood and the other not enough. More
