Plane Parts Fall Through Miramar Building's Roof
San Diego Union-Tribune, Sept. 19 –A small box containing aircraft equipment fell off a military aircraft and slammed through the roof of a building in Miramar late Tuesday or early Wednesday, officials said. Military officials said the 1-foot-square box fell sometime between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7:15 a.m. Wednesday when the building – a UCSD bookstore distribution center – was unoccupied. The impact left a hole in the roof of the warehouse on Trade Street near Carroll Way. More
