Study: Non-resident students help states financially
Associated Press, July 31 – In support of a University of Michigan study, UCSD economics professor Michelle White found that because public universities set higher minimum admissions standards for out-of-state students, these students have greater qualifications and earn more money after graduating from college than do their in-state counterparts.
