Earth Heats Up
as Global Warming Debate Rages
Voice of America

Skeptics argue that global warming is part of the natural climate cycle. They say whatever humans contribute to it will not cause it to be irreversible. VOA's David McAlary examines the issues. (Quotes Richard Somerville, of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography) More

(Also mentions UCSD’s Allyson Green) More

But there is a form of the disease that resembles a skin infection called inflammatory breast cancer. (Quotes Dr. Anne Wallace, director of the Moores Cancer Center UCSD Breast Care Unit) More

Taking our Temperature
San Diego CityBEAT
, Aug. 9 -- You’d think that a city mayor would be yelling from the rooftops if a public-opinion poll put his job-approval rating at close to 80 percent. But last week that wasn’t the case. (Quotes UCSD political scientist Steve Erie) More
