Cholesterol drug use raises questions about side effects

Feb. 1 -- UCSD is conducting a $4.4 million study assessing the side effects of statin, a popular drug used to lower cholesterol and reduce heart-attack risk.  UCSD professor of medicine, Beatrice A. Golomb, leads the study.
