by Sarah Gille has uncovered a warming trend over the last 50 years
in the Southern Ocean. Robots
deployed in the 1990s have helped produce new evidence that the
Southern Ocean, the body of water surrounding Antarctica, is warming
faster than the rest of the world’s oceans.
