Climate Change and California’s Trickling Water Supply
KPBS, Feb. 13 -- Earlier this month, an international consortium of scientists reported that global warming is on the march. And it's almost certainly a result of the burning of fossil fuels. So what does climate change mean for California? Actually there are many studies that have addressed that question. Sempra Forums Set to Address Global Warming
San Diego Union-Tribune, Feb. 14 -- Sempra says it now accepts that the global-warming phenomenon is real, a change in position for the parent company of San Diego Gas & Electric. As a step toward dealing with the problem, it's bringing in prominent scientists to discuss the issue with its board and top management. The first of those sessions is slated for this evening and will include Veerabhadran Ramanathan, a prominent UCSD climatologist who believes human activity is contributing to global warming. More
