Neil Morgan column, Mar. 27 – Feature article on Malin Burnham, chairman of the UC San Diego Foundation and UCSD Chancellor’s Medal recipient. In a recent speech, Burnham gave examples of pioneers including Scripps Institution of Oceanography’s Roger Revelle whose dream became reality when UCSD opened in 1962.
