Racial disparity is found in AIDS clinical studies

May 2, Pg. 24 – A UCSD research team led by Allen L. Gifford found that blacks and members of other ethnic minorities are seriously underrepresented in clinical trials studying new AIDS treatments. The study is published in this week’s issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.
