"Smart Dust" Sensors to Be Used for Eco Detection
National Geographic, Nov. 14 -- Smart dust is the name researchers have given to the idea of having handfuls of tiny, cheap sensors called motes that can be scattered around to measure all manner of things in the environment, from chemicals in the soil to scents in the air. San Diego Union-Tribune, Nov. 15 – The liver-transplant program at the UCSD Medical Center has been cited for administrative and clerical errors in which the wrong blood type and other incorrect health data for patients were entered in a national computer system that matches donors and recipients.
