San Diego Union Tribune, Editorial,
Oct. 24 – This editorial suggests that UCSD
literature professor Quincy Troupe should resign
and spare the university the agony of a protracted inquiry,
otherwise, he should be dismissed. Several institutions, including
Ohio University, UCLA, USC and Columbia University, failed to
confirm Troupe’s degree. (Quotes UCSD
vice chancellor for external relations Jim Langley).
