County Salutes Four Teachers of the Year

Winner Judith Leff, from Paul Ecke Central Elementary School in Encinitas, has been a fellow of the UCSD Writing Project for 19 years and has coached other teachers in how to teach writing. More

New Life for an Old Cottage

The La Jolla Historical Society is quietly pursuing plans to rehabilitate the vacant 1904 home and make it a museum exhibiting the group's archives, which include more than 10,000 photographs.
