Boston Globe, Sept. 24 – Neurobiological
findings show that physical, sexual and psychological abuse
affect key structures of the brain. Studies by UCSD’s
Murray Stein and Yale’s Douglas Bremner
found that the left hippocampus, which affects memories and
emotions, is smaller in abuse victims.

of college professors who are registered Democrats or that belong
