Article highlights scientific efforts at UCSD to combat
terrorist attacks. In January, UCSD and SDSU formed the
San Diego Regional Network fro Homeland Security to prepare for
the worst. The network is being designed to draw from UCSDs
strengths as a research center, and SDSUs ability to train
emergency workers and health professionals through its school
of public health. (Quotes UCSD Chancellor Robert Dynes).
