University of California, San Diego’s Center for the Humanities will present an illustrated lecture by University Professor Of Theatre and Dance Emeritus Theodore Shank on Alternative Theatre in the USA. This presentation is based on his research on theatre that goes beyond conventional boundaries and is the first in a six-part series on “Creativity, Research and the Arts” being presented in February and March.

The lecture is free and open to the public. The event will be held beginning at 7:30 pm in the Institute of the Americas Copley Auditorium on the UCSD campus.
