NEW ASSOCIATE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN, TECHNOLOGY
AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, APPOINTED AT UC SAN DIEGO

Luc Declerck has been appointed associate university librarian, Technology and Technical Services, at the University of California, San Diego Libraries.

Declerck is currently manager, Systems Services and Operations, at the University of Victoria Libraries, British Columbia, Canada, where he also has served as manager, Budget, Systems and Facilities.

Declerck began his library career as a cataloger at Ontario, Canada’s Trent University, where he later served as head of Cataloging and Document Delivery, Systems librarian, and acting university librarian. He received his master’s degree in library science from the University of Western Ontario.

Declerck begins duties at UCSD Libraries March 1.
