An open house for One Miramar Street, the newest single graduate housing development at the University of California, San Diego, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. April 2. Chancellor Marye Anne Fox will share remarks at 1:30 p.m.
One Miramar Street includes 403 two-bedroom, two-bath, apartment style units for single graduate students. Most of the units include patios, balconies, and views of La Jolla. There is an on-site café, central mailroom, laundry rooms, elevators, meeting areas, and bike racks. One parking space is allotted per resident.
Other amenities include key-less entry (per electronic card), private bedroom locks, blinds, carpets, kitchen appliances, and cable TV access.
One Miramar Street is close to campus and within walking distance of stores, restaurants, and public transportation. The campus shuttle will service the area. This is the first new construction of graduate housing since the Warren College Single Graduate apartments were completed in 1993.
