Friends of UCSD Libraries to Hold
‘Road Show’ May 15 at Geisel Library

In the style of the PBS “Antiques Road Show,” a Book Lovers Road Show will be held by the Friends of the UCSD Libraries at 5 p.m. May 15 in the Seuss Room, Geisel Library, at the University of California, San Diego.
Book collector, author and retired librarian Jack Walsdorf will share his insight regarding personal book collecting in a brief program, “The ABCs of Book Collecting,” and then invite audience members to offer one or two books for discussion and informal oral appraisal.
Members, friends and students are invited to learn more about book collecting and find out what their special book is potentially worth.
admission to the program is free but reservations are required. Up to two books may be appraised for $5. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the UCSD Libraries.
