UC San Diego Extension Offers Ways To Make A Difference
San Diegans are invited to discover 52 different ways to change the world – one for every week of the year.

Event includes "one-stop philanthropy" with CPR demonstrations, roundtable discussions, speakers, music, food donation barrels from Mama's Kitchen, a blood drive sponsored by Red Cross San Diego, and the opportunity to network with cause-oriented companies and career services experts. Free parking is available in the Gilman Parking Structure, located at the intersection of Gilman Drive and Villa La Jolla Drive. Shuttles from the Gilman Parking Structure are available for people with disabilities.

Outside organizations participating include the Sierra Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Peace Corps, the American Lung Association, Volunteer San Diego and Project Concern. Volunteer opportunities, tips to make a difference on an individual basis, and a variety of career prospects with non-profits and cause-oriented companies will be presented.

Very visual event featuring jazz performances, dramatic floral arranging, photo lectures and interactive exhibits.

The event is free to public. No media credentials required for entrance.
