Oct.
6-11, 2003 Eleanor Roosevelt College at the University of California,
San Diego, will celebrate completion of its new campus the week of October
6-11 with a series of activities featuring the college’s international
theme. Students, faculty and staff are invited to all functions, including
three special events open to the general public. These community events
include a lecture by Pulitzer Prize winning author Samantha Power Oct.
8; a lecture by internationally renowned architect Moshe Safdie Oct. 10,
and a Global Street Fair Oct. 11. All three events are free. For further
