New Director Joins UCSD Career Services Center

Andy Ceperley has been named director of the Career Services Center at the University of California, San Diego. For the last four years, he was the associate dean of Academic Support and director of the Career Center at Santa Clara University.

Previously, Ceperley served as assistant director in the University of Virginia’s Career Center and as assistant dean at the University of Texas, Austin.

Ceperley earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Virginia.

“I am delighted to be part of such an outstanding, customer-driven center on a campus that is so vital to the San Diego community, the State, and the world,” said Ceperley.

The UCSD Career Services Center assists UCSD students and alumni with virtually any career-related issue. Programs and services include job and internship listings, job fairs, on-campus interviewing, career advising, career information and internship resources, networking events, job preparation workshops, professional and graduate school advising, and much more.
