Muir Musical Ensemble To Present
Company April 8-10 On The UCSD Campus

The
Muir Musical Ensemble, the only completely student produced
musical theater event on the University of California, San Diego
campus, will present Company, written by George Furth
with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, at 8 p.m. April 8-10
in Mandeville Auditorium.
Company is
the story of Robert, a confirmed bachelor on the cusp of his
35th birthday, and the five married couples that permeate every
aspect of his life. Told in a series of a-linear vignettes,
the show is about love and marriage in 1970’s New York
City.
This year’s
production is directed by Muir senior Matt Test and is comprised
of a production team of about 20, a cast of 14 and an orchestra
of 35.
Tickets are $6 for
students, $7 for staff and $8 for general admission and are
available at the UCSD Box Office, the Muir College Center and
at the door.
