Oct. 11, 2003 Eleanor Roosevelt
College at the University of California, San Diego will mark the completion
of its new campus and the culmination of weeklong “Grand Opening”
activities with a Global Village Street Fair to be held from noon to 4
p.m. Oct. 11 on Scholars Drive. The event, free and open to the community,
will highlight international and/or intercultural service or internship
opportunities available to area students. Representatives of groups ranging
from Amnesty International to the United Nations Association will be on
